And other Monday observations…
Apparently schools closed today and tomorrow due to excessive heat. How can that be? I went to school in Michigan and we never closed down due to excessive snow and I lived through a heat wave in GA when it was 110 outside and schools didn’t even close then.
Yesterday we had our second date, we met in the village ate and then walked around until we were completely melting and would stop in somewhere for a beer and air conditioning. Seriously by 4pm when we parted ways I was a puddle of my former self and possibly several pounds lighter (although I’m sure the beers averaged it all out). We had fun, he’s a super sweet guy, but a terrible kisser. Ugh, is this something that’s fixable?
My parents still think it’s necessary to call me and remind me of family member’s birthdays, as if I don’t have the Internet to do that for me now.
I found out that my ex best friend is now hanging out with my ex boyfriend W. Never mind that this entire group didn’t like him and vice versa. I guess they bonded over their animosity towards me?
It’s such a let down to go 4 months without kissing a boy, only to be disappointed.

I think you can teach him to be a better kisser
Yes, you can fix it! it's the bringing it up that has to be handled with care...
oh I love the gladiator shoes. I already bought a pair in black and a pair in gold! Get with it honey!
Oh hon, sorry to hear things didn't turn out better. Don't let it get you down, you are awesome, if he's not the guy the city is filled with them.
I can't believe that your horrible ex is now friends with that whole group you used to hang out with, especially E. None of them have any integrity at all do they?
I can't decide if this date went well or is the last one. bad kissers suck but I think you are right you could "work on it" if you like him and hey the "working on it" part could be really fun.
My mom calls me all the time too. Makes sure I don't forget to set my clocks back, birthdays. wedding, anniversary's graduation... I never have to remember a thing!
